'Last Sunbeams Of Childhood' marks the first track to be lifted from Wasylyk's forthcoming album, 'Fugitive Light And Themes Of Consolation' (follow-up to 2019's SAY Scottish Album of the Year Award shortlisted, 'The Paralian').

Wasylyk invites us to celebrate in the fond and fading fragments of our youth, hopeful among those misremembered memories caught in the pailing shards of late-afternoon sunlight.

A hushed drum groove rolls to a Les McCann-inspired Fender Rhodes, while an ECM-worthy electric guitar and soprano saxophone flourish in unison and serve to illustrate Andrew's knack of producing gorgeous melodies and beguiling arrangements. Everything has its place. Timeless, yet entirely individual.
