New discoveries come from many places, and many great new soul records from the uk have been turned up in the last 10 years. I completely flipped when Sam dropped this Taffy (Katherine Quay) White label. More known for her huge Italo Euro pop hits, this UK white is an utterly stunning piece of deep UK soul and may well be her best ever recording to date. How this did not take off and become a hit is beyond me.
