Johnson is well know to the music scene, having had many records played for years on the northern soul scene, a funk monster"Damph F'Aint,"spun on the Deepfunk scene, he even went on to record with Finnish funk masters The Soul Investigators in the early 2000s before he passed away in 2004. He was also member or bands, The Ambassadors, Zip Codes and A Moment's Pleasure.
